Intel will release new processors with a higher level of protection so that they cannot be affected by the Specter and Meltdown vulnerabilities. We tell you all the details.
The attacks on the network are more critical and more constant. It is surely a topic that bothers users since it can affect their personal data, privacy, and security. The vulnerabilities known as Specter and Meltdown detected late last year, have been more of a headache for many of the companies that were affected by this attack.
Remember that these attacks affect software processes by allowing one to spy on the other. In this way, the spy can collect information such as passwords, passwords, bank details, etc.

Intel processors patched to deal with Specter and Meltdown
An official statement released by the company confirmed that microcode updates have released for the total of Intel products released during the last 5 years that demand some type of protection against vulnerabilities discovered by Google.
In this way and referring to the “promise” that the company did, Brian Krzanich executive director of Intel said certain parts of the processor had redesigned to introduce new levels of protection through partitions that will protect against variants 2 and 3.
For its part, variant 1 will continue addressing through software mitigations.
When can we enjoy these new processors?
These partitions will see first-generation Intel Xeon scalable processors (with the code name Cascade Lake) appear first. For its part, the eighth generation processors are expecting to launch from the second half of 2018.
The company has not waited to show that its primary interest is not only to offer the best performance but also this performance is safe. Something crucial today given the number of attacks that are emerging.
Intel has assured that it is a long-term commitment to offer customers a reliable and transparent security guarantee.
