A few days ago we told you in MsnTechBlog that the arrival of Android Oreo had been announced to the Android Wear operating system. But, at that time, a list was not provided with the smartwatches that had confirmed the version leap, something that I have changed. Show you the models that are sure to update.
Unfortunately not all models that made the jump to Nougat will do the same with Oreo, and there are notable absences such as Motorola Moto models, which we will see without the passage of time, it is decided to upgrade (but it is possible that those who have some of this smartwatch, as is my case, are left with the desire to enjoy the options included in the new version of Android Wear).
Listed with the smartwatch that makes the leap to Oreo
The list includes the smartwatches that have already started with the corresponding update and, additionally, the terminals that the companies have notified to Google that they will use Android Wear-based on Oreo. Obviously the number of wearables accessories can increase, but personally, I think there will not be many more of those shown below:
Smartwatch that is already updated:
- Fossil Q Venture
- LG Watch Sport
- Louis Vuitton Tambour
- Michael Kors Sofie
- Montblanc Summit
Smartwatch with a confirmed update:
- Casio PRO TREK Smart WSD-F20
- Casio WSD-F10 Smart Outdoor Watch
- Diesel Full Guard
- Emporio Armani Connected
- Fossil Q Control
- Fossil Q Explorist
- Fossil Q Founder 2.0
- Fossil Q Marshal
- Fossil Q Wander
- Gc Connect
- Guess Connect
- Huawei Watch 2
- Hugo BOSS BOSS Touch
- LG Watch Style
- Michael Kors Access Bradshaw
- Michael Kors Access Dylan
- Michael Kors Access Grayson
- Misfit Vapor
- Mobvoi Ticwatch S & E
- Movado Connect
- Nixon Mission
- Polar M600
- TAG Heuer Tag Connected Modular 45
- Tommy Hilfiger 24/7 You
- ZTE Quartz
What seems clear enough is that there are companies, apart from the traditional companies such as Fossil, Diesel or Michael Kors, that strongly support smartwatch. An example is LG and Huawei, while others like Sony or Motorola seems that not being part of the list – shown on the official Android Wear Help page – they say goodbye to staying in this segment of the market (at least, temporarily).
